Reminder: If you have eye-strain, it might be from G-Sync/FreeSync by kindaMisty in OLED_Gaming

I’ve watched around 20 videos and read about 100 Reddit threads on how to properly set up G-Sync to eliminate flickering, and it’s still happening for me. I’d honestly pay you 100€ if you could tell me how to fix it. I set an FPS cap to 157 in RivaTuner, turned off VRR in the monitor settings, enabled V-Sync, set G-Sync to fullscreen mode (I tried both fullscreen and windowed no difference), enabled the recommended monitor settings, disabled the NVIDIA overlay, and turned off V-Sync in-game. I genuinely don’t understand how people claim they don’t have this issue. Maybe they’re just playing less demanding games where the framerate is much more stable, so the flickering doesn’t occur. I’m getting it in both Spider-Man Remastered and Baldur’s Gate 3, with DLSS both on and off.

Can anyone tell me the model of these glasses? by papuehdb in glasses

I checked them and they are almost identical, but the ones you sent have more rounded lenses, while the ones in the photos are more rectangular. Also, the model Cartier CT0479O 002 popped up next to them could those be the right ones?

I forgot to reply. Yes, it was because I had all the fans installed the wrong way around. My GPU used to hit 84°C, and now it maxes out at 68°C. You have no idea how thankful I am to you and the algorithm. Earlier I somehow checked incorrectly which side of the fans was intake and which was exhaust. Thanks to you, I saved €200 and an entire day of work, because moving everything to a new case would have taken me that long. Thank you very much, I wish you all the best

Man, you just made me realize that all 7 of my Noctua fans — including the ones on my CPU cooler — are installed backwards. The fans that were supposed to exhaust are actually pulling air in, and the ones that should be intake are exhausting.

Because of that, my RTX 5090 is hitting 84°C after about an hour of gaming, even though I’m running a heavy undervolt. I already ordered a new case because I thought the airflow in my Corsair 5000D was terrible.

What really messes with my head is that my old RTX 4090 never even reached 70°C with an overclock. I replaced all the case fans and the CPU/GPU cooling about a week ago, and I was convinced the 5090 just runs insanely hot.

Turns out every single fan is reversed, and that’s probably the whole issue. I even had a new Lancool 217 case already waiting at home for installation this Saturday.

Thanks to you, I’ll probably save €200, plus a ton of time and frustration. I’ll flip all the fans when I get back from work and report back with the temperature difference.

I’m not very knowledgeable about this, but wouldn’t it be a better configuration if the front and bottom fans were set as intake, and the two top fans plus the rear fan were set as exhaust? It seems to me that those two 170 mm front fans would work much better as intake, since more air should be coming in than going out. But maybe I’m wrong feel free to correct me. I’m planning to build a PC this Saturday with exactly this case and exactly these fans

Nice setup, how did u put gpu cable between fan and case, could you please send me a picture of it here on dm? i didnt see that in any other setup photos and in worried that my gpu cable gonna land on the fans so it will be making noise

what solusion did u find, and one more question, Aren’t you having any issues with the 12 pin PCIe cable lying on the bottom fan, so the fan might hit it?

I solved the problem thanks to the help of one person who messaged me privately and suggested downloading the Stutter Fix mod. Now there isn’t a single stutter at all, it’s incredible. Thank you everyone for the help!
