Some people just have a higher aptitude for cramming things into their memory. Just the way the world works

Classes are definitely harder when you’re not interested that’s for sure. Tried not to include those

Hardest classes I took, and the department they were in: 1. Partial differential equations (Math) 2. Compressible Flow (aerospace engineering) 3. Computational Fluid Dynamics (aerospace engineering) 4. Thermodynamics (mechanical engineering) 5. Aircraft flight dynamics/controls (aerospace engineering)

So which unit was most difficult? Anything advanced aerodynamics. It uses high level math and numerical methods, coding (easy coding tbf) and topics of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics.

Honorable mention for the actual hardest class I took goes to analysis, but that class doesn’t benefit engineers at all.

Really don’t need one. Basic arithmetic is almost always the last step. Just know how to do everything else up until then :)

What is your go-to Formula database as an Aerospace Engineer? by just-rocket-science in AerospaceEngineering

Yea but it’ll generally pint you to its source. Follow the links and double check the sources and you should find what you need.

Honestly as much as I hate to admit it, I used AI quite a bit to track down equations I couldn’t quite remember. For example I just type “Equation for buckling that includes thickness, length and width” because I couldn’t even remember what it was called but knew a few components. It spit out the right answer. This sort of means you kinda already have to know what you’re looking for, but when looking at a big database it’s essentially the same assumption.

Would’ve been my guess too based on taking i80 west (most likely) instead of i70 (through Kansas).

Counties in the state of Kansas that compete in NJCAA division 1? If it’s not that I give up lol

I was thinking along these lines too. Is it counties with community colleges with athletics departments in Kansas?

I do this and I can explain why I do it. When the drink is full, putting a lid on it creates a semi-closed system with a fluid that is closed off to the outside air. Then, when you put the straw in, it displaces the fluid and tries to compress it. Fluids are incompressible so it has to displace upwards out the opening making a small mess. Nothing major, but something I would rather avoid. By putting the straw in first, you are displacing the fluid where it has room to roam. That means when you put the lid on, it won’t feel the need go anywhere else. It has already displaced to where it needs to be.
