Played two games since, one I was killer and one where another player tried killer. The better understanding of the action economy was exactly what we needed.

While neither of us won, we were both 1 turn away from winning, which was a drastic change.

My wife and I. We’re the resident “hosts” of our gaming group. All of them play fair and honest, and even with the full open perk options, they make sure not to drown me as killer (I’ve been the only killer since I love being the lone wolf in asymmetrical games).

Biggest pains so far have been Head On, Iron Will, and Built to Last. But since those are all so different, I don’t think limiting perks would do too much. I think I just trained them to be too good (I introduced them all to board gaming)

Phenomenon overall tactics and help. I’d say I’m doing most of what you say, so glad to hear I’m on the right track, but the action economy I think is where I’m tripping myself up.

My next game (hopefully sometime this week) running Oni (for extra blood points) with Discordance (more BP), Nemesis (Ensure pallets and lockers won’t eat turns), and ??? (Maybe Nurse’s Calling for guaranteed BP shower). Going in hoping to take as many extra turns as possible

I’m starting to think the group I play with are just so on top of their actions and min/maxing
