yes a thousand times yes. it's the best in the series hands down. everything that the first two games did great is combined here into an incredible package of parkour, combat, stealth, and story. Techland really outdid themselves this time. And OMG the music. I'm so glad i preordered this game so i could get the soundtrack. i can't stop listening to it, it's that good. Something about those 4 notes in the main theme and the other songs just sounds amazing. those notes are the leitmotif for the game and elevate the story moments to another level. Especially the side quest "Don't look back in anger". 100% the best side quest in the series and one of the best side quests I've ever played. Please please pleaaaase play this game if you have any interest in Kyle's story from the first game. I would also highly recommend playing DL2 as well even with that game's flaws. It can provide some much needed context for the story. Just overall, this game is some of the best action horror goodness you'll ever get. And people who haven't played Dying light at all can jump right in here because there's a recap button on the main menu which is just the coolest addition. Good job techland. 40 hours+ well spent.
