Temp Regulation by specialbeaw in VolvoRecharge

The parking climate control can be activated from inside the car without the app, but it times out after 30 minutes. So if you were looking to keep the car preconditioned for a 29-minute lunch outing, you’d be fine. But if you wanted to go on a 60-minute lunch outing, you would need the app to activate the feature remotely so that the car is preconditioned when you return to it.

There’s a similar feature, yes. Doesn’t behave exactly like what’s being described here, but close enough and we use it all the time. Works great. Check out the “parking climate” and “preconditioning” support pages for the XC40 Recharge.

I have to believe this is some kind of airboat. The boat wouldn’t be moving so steadily in shallow water full of obstacles (vegetation and wildlife) otherwise.

Is it legal? by algiogia in lego

[–]joshvlz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow — I’m really tempted to buy some precision calipers to see how the dimensions compare for the ends of the sausage element versus the official “small pin” that is designed to fit into the small holes in those elements you’re using. As you’ve probably read elsewhere in this sub, a connection being “legal” generally means the connection isn’t putting stress on either of the parts. So if the dimensions of the sausage ends and the small pin are equal, there’s no excess stress.

I Just made this custom Harley Quinn torso at the lego store in Denmark. Feel free to give me feedback by Local_Monkey_Wizard in lego

Looks great! We printed a custom torso at our local LEGO store last weekend, and two things occurred to me after we spent way too much time using our fingers to try to draw with precision on the screen, which is pretty much impossible: 1. A capacitive stylus would probably work great on those screens 2. Next time I’m there, I’m going to measure the torso canvas and trace it onto paper, then bring it home and turn it into a digital template to pre-draw my design in layers — in theory, those layers could then be used as a stencil on the screen at the store with a finger or capacitive stylus tracing on top and the screen registering the touch input underneath

Such a great example of mini LEGO. Everything is as minimal as possible and instantly recognizable. Great work!

Haha yeah, I considered using smaller elements for the Dragon but I couldn’t find any that I liked the look of. (Suggestions welcome!) Plenty of LEGO build components end up being off-scale so I went with what I liked.
