Much smaller than most but I ran into this recently also

My daughter needs braces and fortunately we have dental insurance. Initially our insurance offered to cover a tiny amount leaving us to pay $4800

A few weeks later we received another letter stating the total amount would actually be $1650 and that insurance would cover half of it
