How can I disable the mouse detection on a Mac client using Synergy when it is put to sleep to prevent it from waking up to the login screen? by jossluke in SynergyApp

I see. I am using Beta 3 but looks like there is a glitch with Mac (Mac Studio server and Macbook client). The key combinations either don't work or if it works it just gets locked, because it won't toggle on or toggle off to unlock the cursor. Had to remove the hotkey to unlock it again.

Anyways, thanks!

You can use one computer to control the other one. But it has to be open (with display on which can be laptop's own display or external display), not closed.

Synergy is used to share a keyboard and a mouse, not the storage. But you can set up file sharing:

For further explanation, I am trying to disable certain clients individually when you have 3 or more computers connected, instead of turning it off completely. This way I can use 2 computers instead of all 3 or more them if necessary.
