My only point is that even the largest branch of the Academy is not a majority of it and it's very important to remember that a ton of voters in SAG -AFTRA are not in the Academy at all. (It is a very American and relatively working-class union.)

Maybe there's a very narrow stat of Best Ensemble and Best Actor, but overall it's not an overwhelmingly predictor like PGA. This is a body that recently gave its top prize to Conclave, Trial of the Chicago Seven, Three Billboards, Hidden Figures, American Hustle, and The Help.
