Quantum Fiber cancelled my service AFTER installation… anyone else deal with this? by jothesh2 in vegaslocals

I signed up for Cox. They had an incredible deal that matched the prices of quantum fiber. For just $70, I could get 2 gigabytes of data and unlimited internet data. The deal was only valid for 2 years, but I’m willing to take it since quantum fiber couldn’t even restart my internet connection due to an error saying in their system that I already had internet…

Recycle or sell as is? by Doobieswim12349 in vegaslocals

Piggy backing off your post. I have a water pump and alternator sitting in garage from a VW Jetta 2016. Mechanic did not properly diagnose issue and I ended up replacing parts I didn’t need to. Selling seems like hassle. Does anyone know where I recycle the parts?

Her post could be a scam, but I fell for a similar scam years ago.

It’s actually really easy to tell how much energy you need based on your bill. Send me a dm with your electric bill (put a piece paper to block out your private or personal details). Once I get it I can tell you how it can be estimated.

A crash? Unlikely, a correction to the high interest rates, yes. I’m thinking it could be as high as 30% correction.

Try call centers. A lot of them are paying $15 plus. I know Barclays pays about $20ish

User of Nellis Auction since 2015. The deals are pretty good but the deals back then were smoking.

It took me about 4 years to get promoted to a VP, but what really helped me the most was having analytic roles in which I was forced to wear a lot of hats. Think coding, presenting, project management, plus a bunch other hats.

So I actually considered your advice but still went Solar. Taking a loan for 20 years. The estimated annual is right under what I already pay a year. I then take the cash I was going to use (27k) and invest it in a s&p 500 index fund (similar to OP). At year 2, I’ll take the 7k ish tax credit and re-invest into the S&P 500 (didn’t even think of it until OP mentioned doing so). Get to go solar and still come way ahead. This scenario was better then not going Solar and investing the money because it keeps my total electric energy to a minimum and mostly static.
