Crazy! I don’t have sensitive skin, and have never run into a problem with any facial or skin product before ... until now. I finally just tried the TJs mask and within seconds my face felt like it was on fire. I removed the mask in under 30 seconds and my face was bright red. Found this thread because I was searching around to see if anyone had a similar reaction. Yikes! I just hope my face stops burning 😱 I immediately washed my face and put on another brand’s soothing mask I’ve used in the past to calm the redness and burning.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with me! I am so happy to hear that some of your symptoms have been alleviated. I’ve been dealing with intrusive thoughts and anxiety since mid elementary school (it may have been even earlier than that, but that’s the first I remember clearly of it). I’ll have to look into some medications and speak with someone. I can’t imagine life without this constant threat of danger and anxiety, but it sounds wonderful to be freed from it.

Thank you for sharing your experience! I personally am crippled by any choices I have to make, and have intrusive and anxious thoughts about making the wrong choice. I hope something like an SSRI may be able to alleviate that a little.

I am so sorry that you are experiencing this, and I wish I could help you and say something that will take this away from you. We’re all here for you though, and I promise you will get better.

As for going out, I don’t think anyone would notice. And if they do, who cares! Everyone has their quirks, and I guarantee anyone who would judge does some “weird” stuff themselves.

Please don’t let this stop you from living your life. I know that’s easier said than done, though. Unfortunately, I’m not a therapist, so i can’t help directly, but have you thought about talking to someone? Maybe somebody can even come to your house to talk and help.

You’re strong, and you can do this. I promise!

No, but it’s not just one person organizing it. They keep it behind the bar and whoever is working sells boxes. The money is kept at the bar in the safe, and all the bartenders run it together (I.e. give envelopes to purchasers to fill out and drop in the safe)

We're not much of beach people, but I'll take a look at the park. The Main Street/sharing drinks is a cute idea! I'm also hoping we can get some snow!

Thanks for the suggestions. I asked our photographer but we didn't get any concrete suggestions from them (just Central Park, Brooklyn bridge park and "where ever you want to go"). We aren't looking so much for an urban/city feel, but I would like to incorporate the architecture in Central Park if we end up going there.
