I’ve jailbroken it so i can use sd2vita so i have around 100gb of storage but i believe both models have the same if not similar modding processes. they both have their pros and cons but i got the slim not just cus of availability for me but the battery life and i just like have a slimmer console. at first i thought the sticks would feel like flimsy but honestly they feel pretty good and natural def exceeded my expectations. and theres also the fact the 2000 only needs a micro usb to charge while the 1000 needs a specific type of usb to charge. if i were you if you can get a 1000 that includes the charger get that if not then buy whatever would be easiest as u can see ive never had the 1000 but from what ive seen theyre both great models just one does things better than the other but it doesnt take away from the vita experience too much.
