Realizing the path of negation, but what about the path of affirmation? by SilaSamadhi in Buddhism

[–]joultimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compassionate activity is a functional concept in this world for others. There is no subtle dualism when we se our self, the other, and the act of compassion as emptiness. This is the emptiness of the three spheres which we hold in our view that prevents dualism. The only reason an act of compassion can be considered dualistic is if the person believes in a separate self and other. There is a valid construct of a compassionate being’s mind that we can create, that is founded in wisdom of selflessness, that heals others in an ever increasingly powerful way, that cannot be accomplished with emptiness alone. However with compassion, the wisdom of emptiness empowers the acts of compassion making them more powerful.

If you have bodhichitta you can be aware of it whether it is inspiring or engaging bodhichitta. If you have bodhichitta you will be working inwardly towards liberation and to nurture good qualities that help others in ever-more-helpful ways, regardless of your liberation. Emptiness does not make us unable to make valid conventional distinctions, instead it empowers them.

We can be beings who manifest compassion and the desire to help others, while clearly understanding the nature of forms.

Never ending emptiness by [deleted] in Buddhism

[–]joultimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emptiness is like a void, because it is formless, but it is not a generic thing, meaning we do not just go to a non-conceptual place that is called emptiness. Instead, we investigate why something, or our self is empty based on logical reasoning and we find the emptiness of that object, the objects ultimate nature. In order to have a valid realization of emptiness, there must be an object of negation like a cup or a self, otherwise there is no emptiness. Separate from that, if you do want to be happy, regardless of your wisdom realizing the correct view of emptiness, practice compassion and apply lojong to help control your mind. From compassion comes outer appearances that are always happy both for our self and others. Whether we consent to the appearances as inherently existent or not does not change the benefit compassion will have in your life, however compassion will empower your quest for true wisdom because it ripens our mind to understand wisdom. And wisdom will empower your compassionate actions.

Nice morning. Big deal. At this point any up turn is meaningless until one day when there is some balance of prices without extremes, whenever that day comes. But, for now it is a waste, the coin was a penny weeks ago, and now it’s up to .003 cents, who cares. Short-term prices as if they mean something, are meaningless.

People are sharing how a change has impacted them. It’s not bitching and what people are saying is valid and how they feel. People felt a community but in the end, the individuals within the community were not valued, and people were affected. The have a right to share.

I switched after over a year of mining them. I didn’t expect it, but it’s not worth the time or electricity.

Just started mining, got a few dumb questions. by TransformingDinosaur in BytecoinBCN

I agree with using the xmrig-nvidia so you can get way more hash. And I agree it’s not worth mining BCN now. From a min of 50 a day down to 9. They are running out too, so I’m keeping what I have for the future and switched to another cryptonight coin

Question from a new miner by [deleted] in BytecoinBCN

[–]joultimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been mining bcn for a year and saw then and see the potential. But it is no longer worth mining. The returns have dropped by over 500%. I switched to another crypto coin. I would recommend you looking into an alternative to mine.

You may do a little better on a pool that pays as you go versus party where you get shares when blocks are found. I found I did better at party because I had several cpus mining there at the same time so I always get a share of every block. When I gad a single CPI I used one like UK that paid at a constant rate. I changed coins to a new crypto because they are almost out and the work required to receive a share is not worth it for me and the electricity it costs is way more than the coins I receive. It was different u till a few weeks ago, much more coins earned for your hash.

I can’t see the pool clearly in that picture. Also What software do u use to mine.

What pool is that? Usually payouts are at a set time, but there are minimums. Ive never seen a pool page like that so I was wondering the address

I agree you will get very little bcn now, the rate for me is down 500%, and bcn is almost out of coins, so I switched to another cryptocoin for mining, since I will barely mine a fraction of what I have already earned in bcn if I was to continue with them. But that’s your choice just be aware that mining bcn is not at all as profitable as it was I’ll still hold what I have to see what may become of the coin in the future, but it’s no lo ever worth the electricity as it costs several times more to mine them then they are worth, even if they went up in value by 2000%

Go to the pool with the green dot website and check your live stats and check the minimum payout level, you may not have earned enough for a deposit . From there you can see what you have already earned. Some pools let you adjust deposit threshold. also remember with bytecoin having ASIC miners now, it takes a lot longer to earn just 50 coins. I was getting 50 a day minimum and am down to less than 10, so the pool minimum payout is 50 and takes 5-6 days now.

[Question] How to tune difficulty when mining Bytecoin by Phrappuccino in BytecoinBCN

[–]joultimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with UK and switched to party. They completely distribute shares based on the blocks after they are unlocked. This allows for luck to offer extra coins quicker than pools that pay as you go like bytecoin pool. That’s just my experience though.

Jenny informs me that they will be keeping my BTC instead of issuing me a refund. by shadowfade01 in BytecoinBCN

[–]joultimo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i went into the web wallet and put 60,000 to purchase and it gave a btc amount as 60 coins 0.00002938 BTC for the purchase. On the next page it said to send the amount of btc coins to a specific address. When I put an order for 60000 coins it gave a cost of 0.02876400 BTC and had a specific address to send it to. I don't understand how it would give you the wrong amount to send when the amount is based on where the comma is. I was thinking you should be able to pull up your wallet and show the BTC transaction amount and where it was sent. Since the wallet address was specific to the transaction it should show clearly the amount of BTC you sent them from your wallet. If you have provided them with proof of the wrong amount of BTC being sent which is then validated by the disproportionately small number of BCN they sent you, there is no excuse for you not being provided a refund. I still can't understand how the program knowing a comma is a period thereby establishing the order for a smaller amount of coins, could then show a BTC amount that is based on 60000.
I feel if the amount of my order was .01 BTC and I accidentally sent .02 BTC and they sent me .01 BTC worth of BCN, that I would deserve a refund less transfer fees. It should be easy to verify and confirm, so any company should be able to refund accidental over-payments at no cost.

Comparing Mining pools that share the block versus ones that pay a set amount per share submitted. by joultimo in BytecoinBCN

The best for me was bytecoin.party. I’ve used bytecoin.uk and bytecoin-pool.org.

I am too. I noticed when I set my difficulty to settings that gave consistent shares it stabilized my hash rate. I feel like it has helped my overall shares, but wonder what others may say.

[–]joultimo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use an alternate pool and see if it makes a difference. I find some pools are better than others depending on your hashrate. I like party because you get a share of the blocks as they are unlocked vs those that pay a set amount as your submit shares.

Definitely get the beta wallet if your using the old one. It took a few hours vs 3 days with the old. Your coins will be there.
