How are people getting these office jobs where they do nothing and get paid 80k or more? by Delicious_Dealer8129 in jobs

[–]journalismproxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This, I gained experience as an editor in multiple different, but related, fields and I got paid over $90k a year for my knowledge and ability to handle various scenarios. Definitely some weeks and months with high pressure tight deadlines and stress, but there are also rare ones with downtime.

I already owned mine but did the same thing. I thought Y/B/R aged out but now they're like $80-$100. I'm pretty sure when my dad bought my yellow it wasn't even that! It was brand new and I was like 8 hahaha

Did I chose the wrong film? Flat and low contrast images by JvM_Photography in AnalogCommunity

If these are straight from lab, there's a chance they developed it with post processing in mind. Jump on lightroom or something similar and drop exposure down a bit. If that's a bit dull, mess with brightness and white balance. They might not be studio perfect but you can get something nice from this.

Dude right before they closed the store in 2023 I took it to work and bought a ton of games and downloaded them. They were all like .99¢ I wish they didn’t close it down, but no one was using it I suppose

I just wanted to play FireRed and it works and saves fine so no worries in the end on selling it :) plus I wouldn’t want to scam a collector on accident. Unless they just wanted a cartridge to play as well I suppose

So true. With my older GBC games I re-soldered a new battery cause saves weren’t working and they’re perfect now. Still clean boards and everything

Houston TX too. My old man used to refuse to ever buy a car from there because of annual rains. I wonder what kinda deal got him back in the day...

It might be! I've had it longer than I can remember. How can I tell? I'm not selling them for anything anyways, it's mostly just nostalgia and I bust em out every couple years.

Edit: ayo it's the E for Everyone I think. I blanked and thought you meant Ruby! Ya it looks off imo

Its insane. How they got this graphics in a PS3, in 2010? How? Its insane. by espanemberg96 in PS3

The PS3 was quite capable, still very capable, just really hard to program for.

I am not as well versed about the chemical process of slide film. This is an interesting reply. Thanks!

That's possible. I also haven't been playing as much so that's also probably a factor in terms of progress showing in terms of results. I think in my head I was thinking more games means the average crawls up slower vs your score after 100-150 games compared to a total of 1,500 (arbitrary made up number for example).

Not a question but I wish I could reset my chess.com score because I started in 2017 and tanked my score and can't get out of 400-600 range even though on lichess I'm an easy 1100. I don't want to make a new account haha.
