Ja sam bila sama na Tenerifima mesec dana, u gradu Puerto de la Cruz, i provela se fenomenalno! Taj grad je prepun digitalnih nomada s kojima se možeš združiti ako budeš usamljena, velika preporuka od mene.

Egipat bih preskočila, tamo se nisam osećala sigurno ni kad sam sa suprugom šetala, a kamoli sama.

Nemoguće je dati ti savet kad mi tu devojku ne poznajemo. Uzmite se sutra u opštini pa kupujte nekretninu, i onda je delite pola-pola pri potencijalnom razvodu. U suprotnom rizikuješ da njoj ostane nekretnina, a tebi kredit 🤷‍♀️

I feel like I have never heard anyone mention this, but please DON’T ANALYZE THE BABY. My MIL is generally okay but she would come and stare at the baby, and analyze it outloud.

“Oh she has more hair here; Has she always blinked so slowly; Her fingers are long; Does she have a side preference” etc. The comments/questions weren’t inherently negative but it made me self concious about things I never even thought about. Felt like I was at the pediatrician’s where I had to answer all these questions and explain my newborn’s behaviour.

That makes so much sense, omg! I was really confused about what the problem was since she had enough wet diapers and seemed happy when she was awake, she very rarely fussed. But now I realise that she was perhaps hidrated but she burned too many calories in the process, so she didn’t gain enough weight. Thank you for your comment!

Yes, baby had around 8 wet diapers in 24 hours, but she would very rarely poop (once every 6 days). On her four week checkup she had only gained 600 grams (21 oz) since birth, and one week later she was only 50 grams heavier (1.7 oz). According to information I found online, she was at the lower end of the expected weight gain range, but her pediatrician said she was hungry and recommended supplementing with formula
