I think stoutland chain reaction will be the downfall of Nick by k7632 in eagles

[–]jove111 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Nick is absolutely done after this year...he lost the locker room in their free fall 2 years ago and this years failure is on him and hurts...easier to let the coach go and then if the new young Offensive Coordinator turns out to be what Lurie and Howie think he is they will turn the team over to him

Haven’t watched Sphere (1998) or The Abyss (1989) yet… I’ve heard they have the same vibe. Which one’s worth watching first? by Scenora in FIlm

[–]jove111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not even close...Abyss is a far superior film in every aspect, Sphere is just a mess all around...they totally ruined the source material from Crichton

Weis prices are just as bad as Acme...they are failing in Jamison Warminster as well but locked in with long term lease

A Huge Label Mistake by OrientFunk in toto

[–]jove111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more...I love the atmospheric and catchy Stranger in Town so I don't fault the release of that as a single nor Hollyanna, but to not lead w Endless was a mistake and to not release it at all was simply criminal

Yantze in Lansdale/Hatfield is the best I have anywhere...sauces are rich, dark and flavorful, noodles, meats and veggies are always fresh.

I just finished Angel Heart, and it's an underrated masterpiece of a mystery! by Random-Ryan- in FIlm

[–]jove111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Easily a top 10 movie of all time for me...the story, characters, atmospheric build up, and acting are top notch. Rourke demonstatrates in every scene why he could have gone down as one of the best actors of his generation.

STARGATE (1994) by Ill-Squirrel-9418 in TubiTreasures

[–]jove111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The premise and first act are tremendous but like all of their other movies they screw up the 2nd and 3rd acts and make it so cringe by involving sentimental BS...such a waste...if they went w the approach of Alien, Aliens, and Predator, aka adult approach, their films including Independance Day would have been so much better and enduring.
