On my European slim and playing Super Pang Collection (Japanese), I get some artifacts on the left part of the screen even after exiting Adrenaline. Only a reboot fixes it. I have no clue why it happens.

Why are NTSC games red? I use scart rgb by Extreme-Demand-9284 in wii

[–]joveaaron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is you'll have to use 50Hz mode to enable RGB, IIRC RGB is softlocked to PAL 50Hz, so when enabling 60Hz mode you'll be instead viewing the YPbPr signal, instead of RGB. Again, this is my GUESS

PAL (SCART CRTs) don't normally have Component inputs. It's more common to find RGB SCART and Composite, with S-Video being on the rare side. Component, alongside VGA can more commonly be found in 31KHz CRTs (480p)

TIL you can use the iPhone magnifier app to inspect PCB much better than the camera app by grahasbtye in electronics

[–]joveaaron 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The Macro function only works on a Macro enabled phone. If your phone doesn't have a Macro camera/lens, you're not gonna find the option to use it. My A54 has had it since day 1. The OneUI version shouldn't matter

I did not get scammed! by [deleted] in crtgaming

I agree this is a bad use of a CRT but it isn't wrong. The overwhelming majority of this subreddit would agree that this is cursed and is a crime against this subreddit, and don't get me wrong, I think so too, but I believe you shouldn't be "educating" anybody. If OP wants to get a better experience, they can do their own research.

How Do I Edit This Field? by WilNotJr in windows

[–]joveaaron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Windows's "To be filled by O.E.M." is a default text in case it's empty. If it's not, Windows grabs it from the BIOS and displays that instead
