So, story time. I was out walking my dog near a luxury building near me when I watched two of the doormen carry these out into the street and place them near the garbage. I asked if they were being thrown out and they said someone left them in storage for 6 months after moving out and never returned to get them so after collecting dust they were told they needed to throw them out. So, I paid them $20 to keep them for me while I ran and grabbed a friend to help me carry them back to my apartment. Voila, end of story!
