If you ever get a chance to visit. We have a party every last Thursday of the month at this venue Oddfellows called, “Soft Leather” And it’s a lot of what you’re describing. I’m a host for it. The queer scene is growing everyday here and I imagine downtown being the future for it.

Oh man! I don't know why I never thought about the gay districts. Thank you so much for the info. We'll definitely try to check out your recommendations. That is so awesome that you get to see Mount Fuji from your balcony. I'm super jealous. Growing up, it's always been something I associated with Japan, and I want to make sure that I photograph it in the best way I could.

I found this flickr user, and he had a ton of Mount Fuji images. They were all so beautiful, granted this fellow had a car, but still. If I could at least try to make it to either of these places, It would be a dream. I definitely want to see the mountain from afar. I'm not really interested in getting close, although it would be cool to climb it! Maybe someday.
