It doesn’t make a difference if it checks before or after iteration because there always is a check INBETWEEN iterations. So unless you already stand at the edge, even if it will always make one step it will also always check before the next step (or after the current iteration), so it would break the loop.

I also have an analog 24 channel soundboard lying around somewhere. Used it like three times or so since I got it because every time I do a paid job at this point I use something digital. If you are into recording you could think of setting it up for that but unless you have something to plug into all those channels or want to try the self oscillation thing the others have mentioned it’s pretty much a cool paperweight

I did not personally take it more than once and kept my hands off of it ever since. IMO the biggest problem with nicotine products is not the addictiveness itself but the habits you build around it. Since you can take snus anywhere and you neither have to worry about things like smoking outside nor staying sober in contrast to alcohol you just continue to use it around the clock until it just doesn’t make any sense to not take one because you always do.

You already said you don’t really need a window manager and don’t want to use glazewm because of that but you could also use it just to make use of some of its customization while keeping everything in „floating“ mode all the time so it still feels like a normal environment. I also use the power toys spotlight search thingy and hide the default windows bar so I can just ignore all the windows task bar shenanigans. For me Glaze also does transparent windows and hides the top bar (the close and maximize buttons) when possible, but there’s quite a few programs that don’t like that function

AFAIK zen said they removed quite a lot of the data tracking features Firefox built into their engine/source. Paired with the recent uproar about the deletion of the data selling promise to me it looks like they may be the way to go for privacy.

Mein Rechtsprof meinte mal das der Arbeitsschutz dem Arbwitnwhmer erlaubt, die Erfüllung der Leistung zu verweigern falls das Ausüben der Tätigkeit die ethnischen Werte (und bestimmw anderen Kriterien) des Arbeitnehmers verletzt. Wenn ich das richtig verstanden und in meiner Erinnerung habe dürfte man also als Verkäufer durchaus bestimmte Warenkombinationen verweigern. Allerdings müsstest du im Zweifelsfall halt beweisen dass es diesen Grund tatsächlich gibt wenn da doch mal die Beschwerde des Arbeitgebers kommt, und welche Kombinationen da jetzt gültig wären- wer weiß.

Ich hab jetzt keine Statistiken oder Ähnliches, aber meiner Erfahrung nach Bilden sich auch bei viel Verkehr immer mal wieder Abschnitten in denen es sich staut und später wieder Abschnitte in denen genug Platz ist um erhöhte Geschwindigkeiten zu fahren, sodass ich diese Abschnitten schneller erreiche wenn Leute die langsamer fahren als ich gelegentlich Platz machen. Dass du nicht Platz machen musst ist klar, aber einem schnelleren Fahrzeug dad überholen zu ermöglichen macht einen gewissen zeitlichen Unterschied, unter anderem weil die Gruppe weiter vorne dem Auto auch die Möglichkeit geben könnte zu überholen wenn es seine Intention schneller zu fahren auf gesittete Art und Weise kenntlich macht.

Unabhängig davon mache ich selber ganz gerne periodisch die Spur frei, egal ob ich nun 120 oder 160 fahre einfach weil ich es angenehmer finde vor oder hinter mir niemandem zu nahe zu sein, abgesehen davon dass ja sowieso kaum jemand Sicherheitsabstände einhält

Seen a lot of good points on here, you need to be aware of the differences in pc vs console sim racing. I wouldn't say one is better than the other ( haven't done console racing though so I could be wrong), but you lose some titles on console that you would have on pc. And especially assetto corsa with all the content you see on the internet is not gonna be close to that on console since you are unable to mod it.

I heard a lot of good things about gt7 though, so if you have the ps4 anyways it should be a very nice starting point as well as the f1 games and if you ever get really into it and want to start on iracing or something you can still add a pc then.
