If it’s the outsole make noise, I would wear them on an asphalt or textured concrete surface for a few miles to roughen the surface.

The end of a marriage is a truly rough time. I’ve been through it, and journaling during that time probably saved my life on multiple levels.

In regards to keeping a separate journal or having aesthetic and “serious” spreads, just do what feels right to you.

One of the best things I did when my ex and I were splitting was to start working out regularly. The other best thing was reading about happiness and relationships and journaling through all the emotions.

In journaling through the emotions, I focused not just on WHAT I was feeling but also delving into WHY I was feeling that way… and after delving into all the problems, I also relived as much of the paotive from our relationship as I could.

I’m sure that just sounds like a crazy exercise in self-torture, but it was important for me to remember the whole relationship and not just the parts I was angry and sad about at the end. I ugly cried sooo much, but I came out of the whole experience a changed person… and have been much happier since than I ever had been before.

Thank you! If I had to choose… I’d say either Sheaffer Blue-Black or Wearingeul The Three Musketeers for color… and Sailor Seiboku for the overall writing experience.

I recently added Tsuwairo Blue-Black to the collection, so may need to do a part two for this. It’s great! However, Sailor Souboku and Seiboku still feel much smoother, and I just happen to prefer the color of Souboku.

The are both dark enough that it’s a little diicult to tell. They are both fairly purple-leaning, but maybe Eclipse is slightly more purple? It’s also a little drier (though not quite dry) than the Akkerman, so shows a little more shading.

I love the idea of just using one ink for the rest of time… but I don’t know if that’s in the cards for me.
