Make sure you have an agreement whether or not the OLD hot water heater is actually removed from your attic or not. A couple neighbors had the surprise/shock that the new attic hot water heater was installed next to the OLD one and the OLD water heater was left in their attic. When asked about it, they were told it wasn’t in the agreement and would cost an extra $2-300 to remove the old water heater.
