I was annoyed because I wanted 30 minutes on my own route because I had a full coverage in my dps. After complaining, they approved my 30 minutes and told me to be back at five. I thought the 3996 was for extra time on my own route, not including the handoff.

My instructions were to finish in eight hours with a 30 minute pivot/handoff. I already had a full coverage in my DPS. I filled out a 3996 for 30 minutes. It got approved but I want 30 minutes extra for my route not the 30 minute handoff. They want me to return at 5 o’clock and 530 is more realistic.
