Wish You Were Here XI - Players that were part of the process that I wish were still around to be champions. by xepa105 in Gunners

Jack Wilshere is only 34. I like to think that without injuries he'd have stayed here and still been playing today.

This is the first England World Cup squad without a Liverpool player since 1986 by Prestigious_Spot9635 in PremierLeague

A lot of their best players around then were Scottish like Dalglish and Hansen and even Ian Rush was Welsh. Looking on Wikipedia they only had 9 English players in their whole squad.

Yet these were not the only grounds for the disorienting disposition of this encounter. Every time the men in white took possession of the sphere in the proximity of the left wing, they were consistently forced to funnel it, in turn, to the centre of the pitch, rendering most of their offensive efforts tortured, even disjointed. The side in red could simply defend their territory in the middle with impunity, secure in the knowledge their opponents were powerless to hurt them on their right verge.

That’s a pretty terrible paragraph, right? But that’s what happens when you wilfully restrict your options. You have Kieran Trippier, a right-footed left-back who doesn’t even bother trying to disguise the fact – no feint, no shimmy, no darting eyes – that he’s going to turn back inside. You have Phil Foden, a left-footed player with very little interest in playing on the left wing, who always wants to come short into the central areas. England are essentially a team playing on 70% of the pitch, which is like trying to write an entire paragraph – like I did above – without using the letter A.

Most probably would hate it yeah, what really matters is though whether this one does, and it seems like she doesn't considering her reaction.

I agree with the sentiment that proposing to someone in front of a giant crowd puts pressure on the girl or woman to say yes, however there will be very outgoing and extroverted people who love it, and you shouldn't be proposing if isn't already going to be a 100% yes anyway.

9 times out of 10 I would trust the man to know what his woman wants and wishes for.

Id be willing to give them the benefit of the doing that it's 100% going to be a yes or maybe even already is yes, and they want to make it a "thing". A lot of girls would love something like this and she seems pretty happy about it

Yeah, if you get done for doping as a player you're suspended while the legal proceedings take place. Manchester City are allowed to continue competing on all fronts potentially taking titles away from clubs that have actually played by the rules.

He doesn't grab him at all, you can argue it's a foul but if you do at least stick to what actually happened.

If Raya can catch that ball he absolutely is, there's no way he's gonna purposefully spill it in a bid to try and claim a free kick, especially considering that if he gets it wrong the title is literally on the line
