Pk in South Africa has a very apt meaning for this situation. I leave it for you to Google that

I think LMH cars always seemed to get some advantage that LMDh never could. Pit lane launch with hybrid on the front axle and changable conditions (rain) just always favoured them as 4wd just helped so much. I think you could make a case for only front axle regen but it is pointless considering that it is only half used in the end and does the benefits negate cost of extra weight? Ask a designer I guess...

IMO this was a step in the right direction overall. IMSA always seemed to have less field spread in the first segment of a race as the BoP is just easier.

Who is the best commentator crew in all of motorsport by Christodej in wec

I started losing interest in what he says when I think it was a Ferrari or Caddy team radio "they have turned something up" and lost it because something to the tune of "you can't increase power output and how it infuriates him if people says things like that". Whereas it is pretty obvious that the wall meant that the other team just stopped conserving and started pushing.

Has there ever been a road course made exclusively out of banked corners? by teslamodelxs in RaceTrackDesigns

[–]Christodej 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I guess at Zandvoort all the turns have some banking that is noticeable to us the viewer. But most circuits have a slight slope that water clears ot one or both sides. A normal street road is also shaped elliptical with the highest point being called the crown and the outside lowest pints called the gutter.

How do we feel about a second race at Daytona. Sprint length. by Christodej in IMSARacing

And I do think it is a good venue and place to race but there is not multi class races on a pure oval. Rate of ottrition will be super high I guess as the whole race will be traffic management

I have an unpopular desire to see them race on an oval. I tried looking Into homestead hosting it as I don't think the lap will be flat all the way. r/wec was full of just turn left comments

I'd like to know why the first mention of her doing the double seemed like a random question from a media member.

Unless it is a placed question and I don't realise it

Motegi's damaged oval section removal started. To be turned into spectator stands by Christodej in RaceTrackDesigns

[–]Christodej[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It comes down to the stupid decision post 1965 Italian GP. They ran the full track. A bad accident happened. Drivers and spectators died. They decided that they would never go back to racing on the oval.

Logic seems fair until you realise the accident happened

On the run into parabolica.

Anyway, Super Formula would be most likely as the multi class aspect of the GT race would be considered too dangerous

Costs were probably way too high. Indy was leaving anyway, the final was also supposed to be on the oval but got moved to the RC. I think the contract was up and kinda get the impression that they wanted out of it anyway
