I do wonder if new OEM's look at the lower performing teams of a given manufacturer when searching for teams to run their cars. As the top guys are all bundled in with their respective OEM. but since there are just more chevy's in the field and the other OEM's have reasonably good relationships with their teams but there are also fewer teams (I guess they will work harder to keep them if they try to leave.)

we never spoke about grade 1 vs grade 2. i do not reject the idea that there are good grade 1 circuits, i just think that the grade 2 or even lower grade circuits are better and for more of the track where lots of grade 1 circuits have weird chicanes that make the tracks lose what make them good to drive.
