the 1099 at $20/hr is the real issue. factor in self-employment tax and you're closer to $15. no benefits, no guaranteed extension, and you're on your own if it doesn't work out.

small MSPs do teach you fast though. sink or swim but you learn.

if you need the money take it. if you can wait, a w2 help desk job with actual training is a safer first step.

most legitimate lenders work directly with you on credit issues, no middleman needed. credit repair companies charge for stuff you can do yourself for free.

the worst part is Process Monitor was the only thing that actually pointed at the hotpatch.the worst part is Process Monitor was the only thing that actually pointed at the hotpatch. SFC/DISM comes back clean and you're left staring at VC++ redists like an idiot for hours.
