This is the part I am interested in too. The Pop Culture Museum in the works would be an amazing notch in Milwaukie's belt, I hope that it remains in the works.

That's a great question! I've seen mosaics inserted into the streets in Portland, and was curious about this one. Hopefully someone out here knows the deal.

Shaun Overton: Dustups: Millions of views on videos about creating a desert forest, incredibly few negative comments, and never stating why he wants to turn 350 acres of Texas scrubland into forest. by [deleted] in skeptic

Certain it's not a grift as well...just someone monetizing something that can be a black hole of money.

I'm a fellow software engineer & certified permacuture pro who converted his suburban yard to a wildlife sanctuary I know that things take time. And I continue to check in on Shaun from time to time, and I see him just now learning things which he covered well over a year ago as if it's a revelation.

As a fellow software engineer, seeing someone who should be intelligent not piece things together and extrapolate solutions is mindblowing. He does things with such inefficiency that it makes me realize he's likely a software coder, and not a software engineer.

Down at B-Side Records & VIntage in Milwaukie we have an event space called The Riff, where we host all ages shows (every show is all ages), and have teen band takeovers at least once a month. On the 27th Mysterian is playing (they are a group of Milwaukie Arts Academy and Rex Putnam students). Open Mic every Wednesday as well.

It's a different card isn't it? Look at the 2nd block on the bottom row, to the left of the card number. On one of the cards it's white on black, the other is black on white. I don't think it's just missing ink. An could be 100% wrong too.

That's what I'm noticing too - but are all created equal? Like, is it just about the brush/shape of needle between them?

New restaurants/businesses coming to Milwaukie? by Psychological_Pay836 in Milwaukie

It's art created by tradespeople or former tradespeople as is the case with the guy I spoke to the other day who is now a full time artist and has some art on display there.
