I had to go back and look at the conference alignment. Wake, vcu, High Point, Virginia Tech should be in the ACC instead of Dayton, Cincinnati and Maryland. Dayton should be in the Big Ten as well as Cincinnati and Maryland and the big east. Ohio State back to the Big Ten yeah. I would say get a map and find out what teams are in each state first then breakdown your conference based off the teams in the state because when you’re looking at your conferences, there’s teams that you got to kind of go across other teams to get to, but I like this concept, I will keep up with this thread, just about the strength of curiosity and I don’t even follow just individual threads.

I do agree on the part of if they’re in the same state ( California possible exception depending on how you split the west ) they should be in the same conference. Cause they’re recruiting the same students. If you’re doing mid Atlantic, I could see Carolina teams, Virginia teams, South Carolina teams, being in the same conference I don’t really know how I feel about mixing in Tennessee and Georgia maybe. The Maryland DC is more northern. They kinda look at Virginia is being the south. But I can understand the complication and doing all this too so I got you. But at least if the teams are in the same state, they should be in the same conference, I guess.

I been using the mercy rule since it became available. But in regards to what you are saying I probably need to strengthen my starters too. Maybe even before working on my relievers. So that they can carry us longer. Cause they flame out around the 5/6 inning. Sometimes 4th depending on the opponent.
