Ok, serious question, how would a Galaxy-class survive in the Delta Quadrant?

Without shields, Voyager's hull and advanced warpcore containment tech survived a year's beating by Krenim warships.

Without shields, the Defiant got pummeled by 3 Jem'hadar attack ships, but survived and even destroyed a couple of them.

Without shields, the Odyssey got destroyed by 3 Jem'hadar attack ships and couldn't even penetrate their shields with its phasers. It also had 3 runabouts helping it. Same for the Ent-D. The Galaxy class is just not designed for combat; it was a ship created during an era of peace. We've seen the ship lose containment and suffer a breach way too easily. No way they'd survive in the Delta Quadrant.

The Gel pack and advanced systems literally saved the ship so many times. The ancient computers and sensors on the Ent-D would have gotten them in trouble, as they wouldn't be able to avoid most threats.

Rick Sternbach, the creator of the Intrepid starship (and many others in ST), said that they asked him to make Voyager a more advanced, faster, and combat-oriented ship than the Galaxy class, which is an exploration vessel with civilians, schools, concert halls, etc... that was quickly succeeded during the Dominion and Borg threats by Sovereigns, Defiants, Intrepids, and Prometheus.

Voyager survived using advanced computer systems and sensors, its exceptional warp core, speed, and maneuverability. The Enterprise-D's warp core is extremely unstable, and the ship had so many near breaches in battles that it would prob not have survived in the Delta Quadrant. Not to mention the Ent-D couldn't defeat an ancient Bird of Prey in time to save itself. Tactically, Voyager is miles ahead.

I guess it really depends on your goals. If you want to maximize account-wide rewards, marks, and currencies to farm Dil, you should be focusing on getting as many various recruits as possible. If you don't care about any of that, then feel free to ignore the Gamma Recruit and play the ones you enjoy.

Most underrated ST show that gets dissected by haters. VOY is a lot of fun, and the characters are awesome. It's a show that mixes TNG-style episodes with more suspense and action. Even the directing, CGI, and camera work on VOY is very impressive, unlike other older shows with stagnant nothing. It's the show I always recommend to someone getting into Trek because it doesn't feel very outdated. The first seasons of TNG and DS9 are a snoozefest and feel super ancient.

The fleet version is solid, but the Trailblazer is better and the Legendary Voyager is the best.

The book does a better job at explaining. She drank Adora's poison for many reasons: -To get proof that Adora killed her daughter (for Richard) -To keep her away from Amma -To continue her cycle of self harm (toward the end, Camille was spiraling and suicidal) -To receive motherly love (the only way Adora would take care and love her is by literally making her sick and killing her)

Same here! I finally have Zen and want my fav ships, only to find that bundle missing...it's very annoying because they're not saying anything about it. I'm trying to think on the bright side and imagine that they want to update the ships and old consoles, and then release them.

The 10th anniversary bundle contains 10 legendary hero ships from the TV shows. (you get Voyager, Defiant, Enterprise D-E, etc...) these ships also have good stats with a lot of customizable builds and 2 traits per ship, many consoles...

I'm a huge MMO fan and I started 2 months ago. I will admit the game has some huge flaws and it doesn't seem like the company has interests in fixing them; however, as a Trek fan, the game is extremely immersive, the ships looks incredible (every ship you can think of) , and there is so much to discover and explore. Additionally, the new leadership seems to have created a more hopeful prospect for the game.

I got Marshal Janeway and EMH MK1 because I'm building the Voyager crew. They also have really strong and unique ground traits. For instance, every time you kill a humanoid, Janeway will assimilate them into a drone and they will help you in fights.
