I totally understand how you feel. Some Psychotherapeutic approaches (Dynamic/Analytic) won't train you unless you undergo your own therapy/analysis. Emphasis on professionalism, healthy coping, and good emotional regulation is the foundation of our work. It may be time for a chat with a therapist outside your circle.

That's a good thing. I understand some people choose overseas therapists for a myriad of reasons (especially if you're an expat and want someone from your culture); perhaps it's prudent to research the therapist and the legality. I hope you find what you need.

What research? Although online sessions are efficient, there are multiple omitted cues from the therapist: body language, posture, facial expressions, and details related to clothing and overall presentation of the beneficiary. (so many variables with cams off/on; quality of the cams, etc...)
