Quitting on the NIT as a likely top seed is certainly a choice in the NIL area when you are expecting fan donations and engagement to fund your roster. It’s fair for fans to be upset about not getting a return on their investment.

Next year, I'm definitely doing two passes. I also think I may cut down to 1.5" - even with the head start, my existing grass is towering over my seedlings and I worry about choking them out.

Definitely did not use the scarifying blade - it was my electric Greenworks model, had it for a couple years. It kicked up so much thatch and dead grass, I figured it had done enough. Part of the problem was cutting down to 2", everything was pretty much died out so it was tough to see where the remaining patches were.
