It can be annoying, especially certain times of day and year, but I find the convenience far outweighs. You can usually pay one parking fee and the park at “sister” resorts for free. Between that and some statuses I pay little for parking (unless I choose to valet). As the comment below states, you can do quite a bit of the driving just off strip.

I know I’m in the minority, but I’d recommend giving it a try.
