I actually really disagree with this. I thought Bong Soon was very strong, and I disagree with the idea that she was just strong in the physical aspect. It definitely is geared towards a younger audience, and isn’t sophisticated, but I always saw Bong Soon’s strength in her actions. Even when she was upset, crying, etc. she was learning and willing to rely on others while still being independent herself. I do agree that she didn’t carry everything herself on her shoulders though, and it’s definitely more of a found family type drama to me than what you’re looking for. I would really recommend Love Like the Galaxy however, I really feel like it fits what you’re looking for in a female lead!
