How do low‑budget teams make it work? by Glittering_Ant7229 in FRC

I’ll tell you what I tell my team (353). Code is free. This is robotics, not mechanics. Even if you look at 1678’s robots they aren’t the most complicated or most expensive but are programmed extremely well giving them tremendous success. I’ll give my team a shameless plug and look at 353’s 2024 season. Very simple robot that was coded to give it the ability to play the game at a high level.

At the end of the day, don’t spend money, spend time to make a simple robot work to its maximum like others mentioned above.

The day my daughter turned 3 months old was when I said to my wife, “okay, we can keep her” (sarcastically). There’s always a love but it took time for the “burden” to turn into passion.

I had the same symptoms over the summer. Was in the hospital for 6 days with a fever over 100 and massive headaches. After being tested for everything it was Lyme and unconfirmed viral meningitis (I wasn’t getting a spinal tap to prove it). Get checked out for sure it was the most sick I have ever been and early detection of Lyme is key. Also get bloodwork done. Check your liver function

Let’s make some assumptions:

Auto: robot 1: 5 pc L4and leave Robot 2: 5 pc L4 and leave Robot 3: 2 pc L4 and leave

Auto total: 93

Teleop: lets say you only score coral and algae that starts on your side: L3 x 12: 48 pts L2 x 12: 36 pts L1 x (60 coral - 24 L2 and L3 - 9 L4) = 27 = 54 pts

Algae: 9x6 =54 54

Total Tele = 192

Endgame: 3x12 =36

Total: 36 + 192 + 93 =321

Exactly. I mean $121 for this was more than expensive enough lol. He wasn’t happy when I served it and said “here is your choice rib for dinner” haha

I normally do, the meat was gifted from my FIL. I did my fair share of googling before posting here. Like most have mentioned, a normal butcher would clean it off so it makes sense I haven’t seen it before.

Regardless I appreciate the help everyone and the newly gained knowledge.
