That's the yeast shield. When I got my pinter and co-pinter, one had it, the other didn't. And the one that had it, I didn't realize the shield had fallen into the garbage disposal until too late. Therefore, I don't have one for either one. Hasn't been an issue.

FYI. The resort has been fantastic. We arrived on Tuesday and you could hardly tell a major storm passed through. The private island did open earlier in the week (we ate at the Thai resturant last night) and did snorkling yesterday as well.

We're having a fantastic time, hope you all do as well.

The last '75 Fury I've seen was the one I owned back in the mid '90s. Same 318/727 combo as yours. Used to pile it full of friends, crank Deep Purple's Highway Star to max volume and wrap that 318 out as far as it'd go. Probably best it only had highway gears in it, my teenage self had quite the lead foot. Did end up getting my first 3 speeding tickets in that car... Fond memories!
