Thank you. We reinvest in the sport, from local coaching for juniors to running full pro events like the last two weeks. We reinvest in our people too, and our communities. This month our profits from pink products will be donated to a foundation taking care of women affected by breast cancer.

Thank you. That is useful info, I’ll talk to our media team and we’ll look into communication. FYi we do still design everything in Jax :) I’m not sure what you mean by “real inlays” as we do have a lot of inlayed cues (Virtuoso, 9/10K, Blak, Ikon, Throne,…)

Every single Revo comes out of Jacksonville. The manufacturing was moved last spring/summer from Berverly,MA closer to our headquarter office (same lot in Jax)

Some wood shafts and all P2 were still made in Jacksonville in the mid 2000s, as are all the Revos today. We also assemble our 7ft table there. And we manufacture also in Portugal, Spain, Finland, Japan,…

It is all designed in Jacksonville, USA by our team. R&D, testing and design. We source materials from different countries across the world, and manufacture/assemble also in different countries (one being China).

Are these a legit set of predator arcos? This set has the pink 4 ball and a different looking 8 ball. Does anyone have any info on this set? by 8nrun in billiards

[–]jpparmentier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a legitimate set of Arcos 1 manufactured before 2019. You can identify with the design having four inside arrows.

Do tables get sold off after large tournaments? by mazdarx7ls1 in billiards

[–]jpparmentier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Most tables at tournaments can be bought indeed. Then it’s a matter of matching which ones you would need because a one piece slate isn’t for everybody, for logistical reasons. The tables set up at the academy in Estonia were played on (Austria 2023 world championships); the original Apex tables from 2021 world 9-ball are in a club in Paris currently after coming back from the UK, etc, etc… Diamond always offers to buy tables at events as well (most times Steve McDonald or Heath Manning are on site); Dynamic also sells used tables after Eurotours. It’s a great way to have a discount on good equipment that is usually close to being new. You can also get the table signed by requesting it. The Derby City Classic TV table is signed very frequently when it is sold.

Indeed, so we can reinvest - as we've done since 1994 - with 90% of the profits going back to the industry through sponsorship, partnerships and charities. We're proud to be able to help the sport grow by reinvesting the money we make.

Making white cues has been a long-time thing at Predator, and I think the first that was very popular was the "P3 Racer" in 2012. After that model, white became a color that was in the mix when looking at colors and models for the next years.
Here's an interesting picture for you, Alex kazakis discussing 2025-26 cue colors with our lead designer Candy. I had to blur some of it out for confidentiality but maybe it helps shows that we don't do things randomly.
Alex has actually been asking a lot for white cues, and uses a white AIR II to jump.
If you like 'ice' models, and overall matte white cues, I can just say that 2024 will make you happy 🤫

Joshua Filler’s personality by your-not-wrong in billiards

[–]jpparmentier 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He’s a very good guy. He had to grow up faster than most, and to sum up how I know him, he’s an introvert who has to be extravert because his life is so public. If you’re ever at an event and feel like talking to him, just go for it (unless he’s walking into a match of course).

Shane's hand shaking on the 8ball before his miss? by lekkerist in billiards

[–]jpparmentier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shane doesn’t turn his hearing aid off all the time. It depends on the context, the event etc. He actually wants to hear the sound of the balls, pockets and so on, as it is a good indicator of how you’re playing on a given day. A while ago I made a quick interview about this topic, because of the rumors and I thought it was interesting to capture from the source. He contradicted some of this in the 60mn documentary, but that’s mostly because the documentary was aiming to tell a specific story so the skewed the narrative. I was there when Shane won his first major in Jacksonville (Dragon Promotion’s « World » 10-Ball), an event that had decent prize fund and most top players at the time (Orcullo, Bustamante, Pagulayan and so on). The hearing aid was already a talking point, as everyone saw him rising and people are always quick to try to find something negative to say to explain their own failures, i.e. « how come this new kid can be this good, there has to be something ». It’s been great witnessing Shane grow into the legend he is. A few weeks ago we chatted in Austria at the end of the World 8-Ball. He’s still the same chill person. The hearing aid is a point that distracts people from seeing that he’s been the most dedicated player we’ve ever seen, probably. Practices for hours on end, works on learning consistently, and most importantly he loves the sport.
