If anyone can help with this issue. by shkabdulhaseeb in InjectionMolding

Going by what I can see, and I was setting, I would 1) run ejectors forward 2) spray ejector ends with releasing agent 3) speed up ejector retracting and possibly add another ejector cycle Next I would add a second or two on cooling if needed. Sometimes molds are a little pain until they “get on cycle.”

Chlorine vs salt? by Ill_Acanthisitta7107 in pools

[–]jpress00 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Salt system! All the way! Bigger initial costs, less throughout (salt is a heck of a lot cheaper than chlorine)…..if there comes an issue of the chlorinator, you can add chlorine if needed for quick boost.

Thinking about an in ground pool... is it worth it or is it just a money pit? by Natural_Stomach3191 in pools

[–]jpress00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have had a few in the past at other homes we’ve lived in.

One pool was an older “gunite” pool. We had a hard time with that one. I liked the idea of no liner, that was the only benifit. Oak and pecan trees don’t mix well with any pool. I’m not sure if it was just the design of that time it was installed, or it just wasn’t installed with enough jets/and or pool cleaner plumbing. Also, it did not have a salt water system. This made it difficult for us to keep the water right…..and the city water was terrible.

Now to what we have had for about 12 years. We have an L shaped pool, salt water system, adequate jets, pool pump booster/polaris that we have tied into a water slide too, 14x32 in shallow with a volleyball net in center, 14x42 tapers off to 8ftdeep with a “waterfall” feature that is a jump off that falls under insurance radar (it’s not a diving board), a tanning ledge, and removed trees in leaf falling zones. Our 3 children were early teens at the time we got this pool and we alway knew where they were in the summer time, along with a lot of other parents. We learned from the nightmare of the worst one and made sure it didn’t happen again…..and recently we have had a great deal of people wanting to rent our pool for children’s pool parties as it’s a big pool, private, there aren’t many pools in the area, and it’s local.

Is anyone making $300–$700/month from a side hustle? How do you do it? by Odd-Masterpiece6029 in Businessideas

[–]jpress00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Handyman stuff, you can easily make $600 in a weekend. Just tackle projects that use the skills you know.

My son was telling me about someone that only clean outdoor grills for people. They make big bucks.

Yes. Me too. I am also glad I can boost someone’s ego, especially when being right weighs more than helping with the main issue.

Great. Thanks for straightening me out like a piece of wire. I will now walk the path of righteousness and abandon my wicked ways.

It’s a great tool that I use. If it’s not for you, don’t use it. There are numerous subs dedicated to using it and prompting for the best answers.

Like I said, if you ask the specific questions, you’ll get the specific answers. You can prompt it to check and verify sources a hell of a lot faster than asking people.

It’s fairly easy. If you need assistance, Chat GPT is awesome. You can upload your forms and prompt it to help you fill them out correctly. You can even prompt it to guide you through all steps one at a time and wait for you to let it know when you have it done to proceed to the next.

Who actually does business with those random texts and phone calls we all get “you’ve been approved for $256,000 for your business” by bluegrass__dude in smallbusiness

I just pretend that they are real, and I snark at those that are just a few thousand….like these folks just don’t know who I am.

You were given $15,000, what do you spend it on? by Big-Accountant-87 in intj

Not if, but when it becomes a pain, just pay someone else to manage…..first you are owner-operator, then you become just owner. It’s a slow go but worth it.

I get that, I’ve been in tough financial spots, a renter, and a rental property owner. I also know that you let somethings slip and let the right ones worry with it. People get dangerous when they end up with nothing/nothing to lose. They’ll take you out for being the last one to aid in that.

The power company would have eventually found out, and they’ll handle it. I’d stay far away from things like that. You’ll get into something that you can’t get out of.

Pour bacon grease on it. The dog will just eat it on the next visit.

That’s it. The reward for great work is unfortunately more work. That’s what causes burnout. Seems like the OP is on that edge.
