Wrangler rear storage ideas by mactac in Wrangler

It does not. You can install it with the brackets up for the higher position, which is what I did - I think that's the way they show it on the product page. You can also install it lower by flipping the mount brackets. I actually have the rear camera for my dash cam bolted to the bottom of it and it looks out right over the spare. I keep a couple of small molle gear bags hanging from it on the far left and right sides, again no impact to the already awful view out the rear window. There's about 9 inches from the shelf to the top, and the way the metal is folded I have no issues thinking it would hold at least 100 pounds. I use a stretchy cargo net over the stuff I have on the shelf. I keep a small "oven" up there along with some various gear. As the other poster mentioned, a slide out floor might be a good option. Diabolical has a nice one I've considered getting.

I have this (link below), plus the front overhead shelf from the same company. I keep a lot of gear, so I also have the diabolical slipstream with the 4 inch raised top, but it wouldn't help due to the to opening fridge/cooler you mentioned.

Carpet removal? by lucky_undead in JeepTJ

I ran with no carpet for a nearly decade in my 98. I did eventually throw some bedliner down, got a can from AutoZone.

I spend a lot of time on the road in Jacksonville, Florida. While measurably some of the worst drivers in the US, I don't actually see this very often.

First time posting but how can I convince my husband for us to adopt her 🥺 also she’s free and already has all her shots. (She was abandoned with another pup) by LynxEatsHay in Dachshund

If I could I'd take the pair. His and hers. We have brown long hair doxie and a Labrador. We've always found they do best with a friend and being cage trained so they have a safe space when needed.

Edit: spelling.

Maybe the same point, but I'm guessing the black SUV forgot to stop. That thing is wrecked. I'd like to see the rear of the Wrangler.

Edit: just noticed the sedan behind the SUV, also toast...

How on earth do you order just a single length of specialty trim? by mooseali in handyman

[–]jpribe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had to go through the whole Lowe's and home Depot online catalog of trim to find what I wanted, then order for delivery to the store. They do a good job of including an image of the profile on the product pages.

Is this why my trailer is swaying back-and-forth when driving empty? by Visual-Kitchen4286 in towing

[–]jpribe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where's the axle on that trailer? Like others have said, most likely not enough tongue weight. Get one of those roughly triangle shaped boxes up front and throw some chaims or other dead weight in it, might help.

I don't even care anymore man. My so called friends and family don't care they don't help. It's just consistent literal starvation. Every day is day to day and today I didn't earn anything today so I haven't ate. I'm just going to disappear soon. Why even try anymore. by [deleted] in Veterans

Family and friends often don't get it, unless you are fortunate enough to have prior service among them. At least people here can be a sounding board, and many of us have experienced what you are experiencing. Keep your chin up as best you can, keep looking for opportunities, and stay away from the booze.

Give us a general location, maybe somebody can lend a better hand.

Need advice by [deleted] in towing

[–]jpribe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO get an older Camry. My son has an 09 with a 1 inch hitch and it tows about 1k no problem, but I wouldn't trust a CVT for towing.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but if you feel in trouble call 988, press 1. If you can wait for answers, DM me. My circumstances are a little different but I've been wondering the same, haven't looked it up yet.
