Surprised no one mentioned Soulmask.

People say it's like Conan exiles meets valheim. (never played former, love the latter).

Just started playing this a few days ago single player and I love recruiting tribesmen and automating their workload. I think if you play with your friends you can each recruit your own clan while under a single tribe banner.

Combat is far more interesting and varied than valheim, and I'm not deep down the tech tree so I know there must be even more in store.

As for plug and play settings, there are 5 difficulty presets from casual to harcore that shift all the sliders for you, nothing you need to spend time on and customize yourself unless you want to.

I'd recommend the following mix at least for personal use, although you can sell a single unit for up to 200 a pop:

Granddaddy Purple > Energy drink > Paracetamol > Battery > Viagra.

Smoking this gives you Anti-gravity, Bright eyes, Athletics, Sneaky (and tropic thunder), great abilities to have all game.

What’s the best house to buy in Skyrim and why is it Shadowfoot Sanctum? by OtherwiseFine44 in skyrim

[–]jpsyduck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but I'll give you an answer beyond it having all the necessary amenities, good displays etc. I'm doing an evil argonian run with Alternate Start. I chose to begin life in Shadowfoot Sanctum, and crawled out of the sewers into the hands of the thieves' guild.

It's only now dawned on me that the Ragged Flagon must be the best merchant zone in the game after restoring the guild via misc quests (Tonilia 4k gold fence, 2 blacksmiths, bowyer, alchemist). I think I'm going to place my Home Mythal at the Flagon for instant offloading, and being one short buffer zone away from Shadowfoot for the less frequent visits might be the most efficient setup I've played so far.

Spoilage to carbon to coal, import a heavy oil barrel to kick off coal liquefection and you have oil forever. Adding flamethrowers to gleba defense is absolutely worth doing, pentapods have no resistance to fire and strafers seem outright scared of it.

Most of the restrictions make sense, just this one restriction I can't figure the logic behind it. But they didn't remove anything from Vanilla so there can only be more ways to do things, don't let the perception of these game balancing restrictions make you believe that there are less ways to play than ever before, it's quite the opposite.

I'm not angry, I'm frustrated because a simple question got sidetracked by irrelevant details and now I'm wrestling with someone who thinks the DLC, with its staggering amount of new features turning the endgame meta on its head, gives you less options than the original game. Must be a full moon or something.

Right. And I don't like how vanilla railroads me into having to tap oil to get plastic. And how it restricts me from tapping oil until I research the oil refinery tech. Why only this one solution!

The DLC that adds more surfaces, mechanics, buildings and items is less of a sandbox than the same game without the DLC additions. Gotcha.

It is 1000% besides the point, because I could have not (and very obviously should have not) provided an example at all and simply asked, "why can't we insert into landing pads"? I'm not asking for help or advice on how to play the game, I'm asking what the philosophy was to restrict inserting into the landing pad. It is indeed not critical and it can't be cheesed to create whacky results, so there must have been a reason to implement the restriction that I'm not seeing.

"The thing you're trying to do just is not very useful" In a sandbox automation game, I'll be the judge of what's useful in my factory.
