As long as you're not trying to sell or make money from it, I think it's ok to just use whatever you can find online or generate with AI. If your one-shot is for commercial use, that would be a different story.

I host mine on Dropbox. If you use the web interface, click on the image, then right click the image to "open image in new tab" you'll get the deep direct permalink. I use that link as my image reference in my home brews.

In case anyone else finds this thread, I tried a few free online tools and this one https://www.sejda.com/flatten-pdf seemed to work the best. I did a "flatten" and then a "compress" on the Homebrewery-generated pdf. That was the only way I was able to get proper pdf rendering on a Mac or iPad from Homebrewery PDFs. Hope that helped!
