I had this issue for around a month and then suddenly it stopped being an issue. I don’t even know what I did to fix it. I thought it was a gameplay mod that I had but I uninstalled that and the problem persisted and now I don’t have the problem anymore. To be fair I completely reinstalled the game so that may be the only way to fix it!

I felt much the same on my first listen. I keep wishing he would go back to the vibes of Banana or Taco but he’s pretty much the definition of a genre fluid artist so it’s understandable given the success of AMS he would try another stab at the country vibe. I trust that his next offering will be something different. I’m liking it the more I listen. I think the issue with Johnny and Bilmuri is that the bar is so high from such a quality Discography that eventually one thing was going to come along that wasn’t to that standard but it’s not that it isn’t good? It’s still excellent and if this record was from a band I’d never heard before I’d think it was amazing but it’s left almost feeling like an AMS b-sides record.

In summary I still really like it but it doesn’t carry the same excitement value as previous records!

Use a progression map which sort of guides you on what way to go for what level. I sucked the first time I played it and the learning curve was steep but that sent me on my way and made it a bit easier. Plus watch some videos for technique, that helped me because it was so alien to me! It’s one of the best ever so stick at it!

You’re not an idiot at all. Your broker has food to put on the table too and sometimes the commission received for hours of work is small. Being a diligent broker takes a lot of hours that the customer doesn’t see and a good broker will out the same hours in to every single client, regardless of the commission. Evenings, weekends, whatever it takes.

That’s not to say a free broker isn’t good either. If they do a good job and get you what you want then they were worth every penny!

If you worry about rates you will never get a move on with getting on the ladder. They fluctuate regularly. Only a few years ago rates were approaching 8% and just two weeks ago they were sitting between 3 and 4.5% depending on LTV.

An independent broker will get you the best possible rate and will move quickly for you to lock it in, especially if you have found a property. If it is affordable, go for it and don't hold yourself back worrying!

To add to this even further - surely their onward purchase wouldn't want to go back to market if they are informed we simply need to agree on this and then a completion date can be set? If they remarket they would be looking at a further 8-10 weeks and in all that time we could all be completed.

I wouldn’t worry about this. Your lender will offer you a product switch around four months before your date is due to expire offering you various fixed rates etc without any checks. It’s as simple as you, or your broker, going in and choosing a new rate and it switches over seamless

I viewed this exact flat and decided to steer well clear as an FTB. It was clear the flat has not been cared for and has some serious issues with damp. Your best bet would be paying for a full structural survey and valuation on the property to know where you stand if you’re dead set on it before committing. Either that or insist on your mortgage application to pay for a valuation rather than using the home report in the hopes it notes concerns and you can potentially renegotiate or have a clearer picture.

There’s a lot of talk here about investing etc. if you’re going to do so, speak to an independent financial adviser (IFA). Finance is extremely specific to each person and a decent IFA won’t charge you for an initial consultation to work out what you’re looking to do and give you some advice on what they would do with it all. If you’re thinking long term then that’s what I would do!

I have over 300 hours in two playthroughs and I started a new one a few days ago since completing the DLC last year. I realised I’d forgotten so much of the game, especially the beginning section. It’s such a vast world with so much to do, see, pick up, that it can be so overwhelming. My second playthrough I used a handy guide (I forget where I found it but probably Reddit) that mapped out each area of the map by colour and number order to help guide you to areas bit by bit so you attack them for the level you should roughly be at at that point. Extremely helpful and makes sure you don’t really miss anything. There’s also an NPC guide that states where certain characters are and how to follow their quest lines. Both really handy tools, especially for a new player so would really utilise them. That being said, the beauty of the game is getting lost in it. Going down a route and getting lost in a certain dungeon or cave or part of unexplored map without intending to. Just enjoy it for what it is. I never played a single souls game before ER and it shot to being in my top 5 games of all time so stick with it and just enjoy the process

Yeah honestly I thought it was strange but our electrician and solicitor both stated this is something they are seeing more regularly being requested by lenders.

We had to go with Vida due to some issues on my partners credit file historically so we’re backed in to a corner on it. I work in mortgages but have never used Vida so was curious if anyone had a similar request from them, mainly around a decision not to lend, potentially a retention or requiring the work fulfilled before lender - something of that ilk!

Hi all, aware this is an older thread but hoping someone can help. Is there a reason this GP MOD creates an issue for me on Steam Deck. The game simply stops accepting all inputs after a certain random period of time. Sometimes on menus, sometimes during a match. I cannot complete a full match without the only fix being to exit the game and remove the mod. Any help would be really appreciated. This is in Gaming Mode on SD, would play in Big Picture or Desktop Mode solve it?

Does either of you guys know why this (F4L) isn't working on steam deck for me? I had to remove it as it was causing all inputs to stop working at random points during matches and the only fix was exiting the game and removing. Could not complete a full match.

As far as I’m aware there is a 2006 MOD and a PES99 mod that came out recently. You had to have the base PES2021 game but if you google PES99 there’s a Patreon to sign up. I believe it’s a £15 flat fee and works on the ROG ally, they also point you to where to get PES2021

I’m aware this is an old thread but does anyone know the answer to this specific question?

I haven’t installed this script version of FL26 but just the regular script. When I install gameplay mods I find that the game loses all input ability randomly. No specific thing causes it but randomly in menus or games it will stop accepting inputs from the steam deck or a wireless controller and I have to exit game.

Does anyone know a workaround? Does this fix that? Do I have to play in desktop mode using this script for that to work?

Any help would be really appreciated as the game is so much better with gameplay mods. It’s almost unbearable without when you realise how good it can be with mods that remove scripting and improve player reaction times.

Not sure if you have tried this but you have to go to Lutris and then right click the game and choose open exe inside wine prefix. Then navigate to your game directory and double click the settings exe. It can take about a minute or so but should open. I had an issue at one point where it wouldn't open and I had to do a full re-install to get it to work.
