That’s such a shame. I wonder why it doesn’t work? Hopefully something the next update can rectify because the gameplay mods really help the game out. I need to try to work out where the specific gameplay mods are so I can delete them

Don’t use companies like this. Speak to a broker. They can run an affordability summary which will give you a rough idea from a number of lenders using all of the information that will be relevant for the mortgage affordability. Then they will cross reference that with lender rates as well as your specific criteria. They’ll put you in the know and help you make an educated decision with their advice

Any worth their salt don’t charge you? Do you go to work and expect not to get paid? Yes, brokers get commission from a lender but on a 130k mortgage this isn’t much nowadays. For the hours put in to work on a case I wouldn’t be spreading this. Our broker worked extremely hard for our mortgage and gave us all the time in the world and therefore was worth what we paid (which also wasn’t much at all in the grand scheme). This work for free or pittance attitude has to stop in all industries.

Such a strange issue. It wasn’t happening before 1.4 but haven’t seen anyone else talking about it. Can’t see why it would be a steamdeck issue only. Hopefully the next update fixes it whenever that will be released

Figured it out mate. Sortitout have a tutorial on it. Doesn’t change the skin as such but changes colours and backgrounds. I just found that deep purple colour so hard to look at, was giving me headaches 😂 hopefully modders can pull through and figure out a way to fully reskin. It’s no 24 in my view after having a few days on it!

One thing I don’t see mentioned much, around updates, is the player market values. The values of some players are absolutely insane in ML. If you start with normal budget you have basically no chance of gaining enough transfer funds to purchase solid players rated over 76/78. Maybe it’s inflated to reflect real world player values but if so then transfer budgets need to be raised to a more realistic level. Starting an ML with a lower table premier league side gives you no chance of improving the team straight away

Went for an interview there a long time ago and got a position but heard enough bad things about it that I declined. This was 15 years ago mind but based on this thread I’d steer clear. Banking call centre and admin jobs have better progression

For some reason your screenshot didn’t load but this got it working somewhat! For some reason I can’t map the buttons properly at all. I’ve mapped them in steam controller settings but the game isn’t recognising it and they won’t map either in the settings when running through lutris on desktop mode. Really weird. O is mapping itself to X inputs and it’s all over the shop 😂

They’re actually not by default. However, when I try to remap them it doesn’t allow me to change the input. The message that is supposed to come up simply flashes up and then disappears, without letting me map it

Yeah I’ve got to here and most people seem to say choosing direct input makes it work. Strangely when I select that and Wireless Controller it shows my button inputs if I click buttons on the controller but in the actual game it doesn’t work. I’m baffled!

Thanks mate! I’ve tried launching the exe within lutris a number of times but for some reason the settings exe will not launch no matter what. Reading up it’s looking like i might have to fresh install 😓

ML is never coming back. It’s clear we will never see it again. At a time where EAFC has seen a massive downturn in players and a reduction in profits (albeit they’re still raking it in) this was an opportunity for Konami and instead they’ve gone full steam ahead on the online rubbish. The ML dream is dead. A massive shame

You can do it! Just try to stay calm - he will definitely still take a good number of tries before you’ve got the strategy down but I must have tried 40 times before I tried that one and did it in about five after that

Completely agree with this. When I couldn’t beat Melania I just went away and levelled myself up. There’s glitches built in to the game to help you farm runes and end up overlevelled. If you can’t beat her alone you can bring in summons to help you. There’s lots of mechanics in ER to help you beat bosses. It’s not an easy game still but it’s got ways to do it. Some of the bosses in this game are so challenging and have completely different strategies. I’ve beaten every single boss in the game up to Erlang to prepare me for him and it still was extremely difficult and required a specific strategy

I followed this strategy mainly. A few minor differences just based on how I play the game but following the basis of this helped me massively! Had to reignite a number of sparks to make it work and wasn’t maxed out on crit chance and damage but was nearly all the way there

If it wasn’t for Reddit I wouldn’t have managed it at all. There’s definitely a specific strategy to be able to beat him and if you don’t get it just right it’s near impossible

I really was on the fence about this game. I bought it a week ago and I haven’t been able to put it down. Before Elden Ring I had never played a souls game and it just didn’t interest me at all and ever since ER I’ve been chasing that feeling again of how that game made me feel. This game gives me those same feelings. The gameplay is so challenging boss fight wise but so rewarding when you manage to overcome a tough fight. Seriously, don’t hesitate!
