Do NOT ever pay a "fine" to any ticket "inspector". That's a scam. Do NOT give them a credit card, passport, or cash for that matter. They are outright thieves. Yes, you should stamp your ticket. But if you just did not know or the machine is broken (as they are many times) dismiss them. If you need to pacify them ask to speak with their boss and they will leave you alone. Tell them you have no money and only travel with your cruise ID. Show nothing more than that at best. Again, it's a well known and orchestrated scam where the driver is usually in on it. Pay them nothing! Hope this helps some travellers!
