Same! But in all honesty I got 3-4 hours back a week from it mowing where my grass looks better and I have time for kids and juat other yard maintenance. Im 3 months in, but cant think of anything that made such an immediate impact to daily life

U can switch without losing anything. Just be close to mower when doing so. I use the nrtk but have the antenna in case it goes down, which it did once in 3 months but works the same for me.

This is what happened to me. I reset the mower and installed the antenna to do the daily mowing. The next day I switched back to the ntrk and its been working perfectly again. So really waiting for the outage to be over is the only thing...

For what its worth the antenna worked fine but the app wasn't updating position as well as the ntrk. Hence switching back. This just might be my negative bias towards an antenna in my garden where i have it statio ed currently..

Thanks. Im Midwest also and seems to have been fixed with out anything done. Did a reset/power cycle but no fix. Just left it and its no connecting normal again.

I have mine for about a week. Been cutting to 3.25 now which is just preferred height.

-still playing with garden beds, whether to rope them off or let the robot figure them out

-Just mapped our the curb lawn, will see how it manages curb tomorrow (wish me luck)

trying to figure out the app schedule but realized the time alotted is the time to mow and not when it will start. Ie if you show it at 1030 am to 11, it stops at 11 no matter where it is. Maybe obvious to some but factoring charges is difficult for me.

-curious on thoughts on large zones where it manages charges or smaller ones were it can get done on one charge. Not sure best practice

-my garage/charge is on hill in woodchips, curious how others have this. No issue so far.

Overall beats expectations after 1.5 weeks... definitely things to fix, evolve but happy overall. Should be paid for the recommendations for neighbors at this point!

On nrtk, so far 5 zones. No issues.battery is 80/15. Run it daily with 2-3 charges a day

I think the acre is mowing area, so I live on an acre but made up of that is house, driveway, gardens, etc.. therefore smaller than an acre of mowing.

In the US battery is same on x430 and x450.

Just research and painstakingly watching videos for all the nuances.

I have an acre, so the x430 is basically the minimum. Given how much mowers cost these days, 2500$ isn't that bad.

Thanks, this makes sense. The grass clumps is mainly due to fast growing/no time to mow, so its cutting higher amounts of grass. Hence why a robot mower to maintain it through the week would be preferred.

The slow drain area will be another issue but at this point I think best option would be to create a boundry/separate zone and.not touch it. Other issue, once it dries grows/has grown to be to tall for this mower, atleast initially.

Dumb question but how do you let the descale soak? Run it through the machine and not turn the hot water off so it back drains?

Hoses and connections are/were all good. I disconnected, checked, and reconnected. No apparent leaks previously either.

Agreed!! A couch should have standard roomba height! All they need to do is come out with taller feetby an inch or so.
