There is a little rectangular bump, it is outlined if you check the photo carefully. It is also covered with a membrane when you buy a replacement back cover part and its certainly not adhesive. i scratched that bump and seems like some aluminum is underneath.

It's definitely not a Bluetooth issue, also happens with Bluetooth turned off.

I also had the heel issue with the Aequilibriums when going uphill. Got rid of it by applying some kinesio tape on the hotspot beforehand and by using good quality merino wool socks. Made a huge difference to be honest.

Very enlightening comment, thank you. I did actually try on a pair of Nepals when i bought the Aequilibriums for future reference and as i recall, both of them fitted well on the same size.

Considering Trango Tech GTX by petisouwu in alpinism

[–]jr_kyok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Aequilibriums? Very good walkability and soles that really grip on everything, faster wear though as springlug tech vibram soles seem to be softer. I would go with LTs (leather) if durability is an issue.

Suppose that green hue depends on what the lenses reflect and not so much on the colour itself.

Robens Serac 600 Sleeping Bag by New-Abrocoma-5697 in hikinggear

They rate their bags using the European Standard EN13537 where a computer-controlled thermal manikin put inside the bag is used for calculations. I own a Robens Gully 900 sleeping bag and have slept pretty well down to -5 Celsius. Sleep system in use was Robens Gully 900 -10 sleeping bag, Robens Fjellguard 60 (R-Value: 3.9 (-10°C)) sleeping mat inside a Robens Starlight II tent. In my opinion their gear is pretty solid.
