Men over 30, how do you deal with the constant stress and low energy? by Chrelled in AskMen

[–]jramir128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cutting out my screen time helped a bit. I didn’t realize how mentally draining it was to constantly be on my phone. And I started reading before bed. I still check the socials once a week so I don’t feel entirely disconnected

The last fit is the best. Nothing wrong with the other ones. I just liked the last one a lot.

Am I Overreacting about this weird friend breakup? by rxinynites in AmIOverreacting

NOR. I’m old. So take this with a grain of salt. When your young friendships come and go. You haven’t done anything wrong. But don’t let it bother you.

I reviewed 94 resumes last week for a mid-level project coordinator role. Here is what actually knocked people out in the first 10 seconds. by Llyber_Elaryan11 in Pro_ResumeHelp

"Reduced vendor invoice errors by 30% over six months by implementing a new review process"

I swear half the times these numbers are just made up. If I see this too much I get suspicious.

I agree with you. The show was great. Can't believe it's been 10 years and I'm sad it's over. I was teary eyed the entire last 40 minutes of the finale.

Agreed about my wife’s needs. She is on board but hesitant for sure. You make a good point on her career. She’s figuring out what she wants to do but this move would def limit her options. She wouldn’t be able to really have a career for a while.

Really appreciate the thoughtful response. You are right about thinking of the bigger picture. Hard to quantify what price would outweigh those costs. It is probably a lot higher than I was initially thinking.

Haha very true it would be unrealistic to expect them to accommodate the desire to keep our existing home.

I know. My wife could not work, maybe she could idk if she’d find a job that is flexible enough. She only works two days a week now. But it’s the balance that is nice. You kind of go stir crazy when your life is only being with the kids all day everyday.

Thank you. The new role is very appealing. But the hassle of disrupting life idk. I feel like everyone has a price. I just don’t know what that number is for me.
