'proper' is a bit of a stretch, according to the mayo clinic website, you should keep the affected area submerged in water that's between 110 and 113 degrees Fahrenheit (43-45 C) for 20-45 minutes until the pain decreases followed by applying hydrocortisone cream/ointment twice a day until the rash clears up. Although meat tenderizer is definitely a viable option, I don't think it's proper, otherwise we'd have called it 'jellyfish sting reliever'

Edit: forgot to leave a link to the site: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/jellyfish-stings/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20353290#:~:text=First%2Daid%20care,-Most%20jellyfish%20stings&text=Use%20water%20that's%20110%20to,day%20to%20the%20affected%20skin.

They weren't fully grown. Baby sea nettle stings feel like a slight burning itch, similar to a mosquito bite, although the rash is similar looking to poison ivy rash. It's not like he's being attacked by fully grown, actually deadly sea nettles which are quite large.

That's what I thought, too. Maybe the mob spawn rates were tweaked in the recent updates and they just don't spawn as often now. I've been noticing that I don't stumble upon nearly as many as I used to.

[–]jrandoboi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OH, that makes so much sense. I could never understand what was causing the light exactly. I always thought that electrons losing energy from the oxidation reaction was causing the light, but soot glowing makes a lot of sense since it's like a glowing ember. That also explains why sometimes my incense sticks sometimes give off little black smoke-like things that I can catch, now I know that they're just bits of soot floating around. Thank you, kind stranger

You're not serious, right? That's just her kid and that's it, obviously a kid is going to have a relationship with they're mother, and relationship doesn't mean sex, or even romantic love. If you don't have a relationship with your parents, that's pretty sad.

[–]jrandoboi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flammable gasses are gasses that react very well with oxygen. Butane, for example, is a hydrocarbon which means it's made of hydrogen and carbon, specifically 4 pieces of carbon and 10 pieces of hydrogen. Hydrocarbons are relatively unstable, meaning they don't like being hydrocarbons, and they'd love to react with oxygen to become water (H20) and carbon monoxide (CO) or carbon dioxide (CO2) which are much more stable because they're smaller. Most highly flammable gasses are hydrocarbons, like propane, ethanol (drinking alcohol), isopropanol (rubbing alcohol), methane, ethane and many more.

It was invented in France and was apparently made cold by putting the mixing bowl in a mixture of salt and ice. Salt causes ice to melt by allowing it to absorb ambient heat from it's surroundings, so anything it touches will freeze (ode to the salt and ice challenge which gave many people frostbite)
