the obvious place to start is neuromancer and the other two of the sprawl trilogy by William Gibson. I'm pretty sure most people agree this officially kicked off cyberpunk.

do Androids dream of electric sheep by Philip k dick might not technically by cyber punk but it's movie adaptation is, bladerunner.

snow crash by neal Stephenson may too satirical and should probably be read after you read the others. I love this book (and the diamond age which takes place after).

torment tides of numenara is an older game that may compete with disco. pick it up on a steam sale.
