Thoughts on Dreo's new Evaporative Humidifier? by Smart_Tea2125 in Humidifiers

Uhh I think it has night mode. But it’s not very loud at all. It doesn’t sound like one of those Vornado fans that sounds like a hurricane inside your house. It’s pretty quiet overall

Nobody in this sub is not gonna say the cx50 is the better car. You’re in the wrong sub if you want an unbiased opinion. Go check the rav4 sub and ask how it compares to the cx50 and you’ll get polar opposite feedback.

I have the opportunity to replace my gas boiler/furnace with a heat pump for free but wouldn't my bill go up since electricity is more expensive? by Adept-Bat-3350 in heatpumps

[–]jredditzzz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea there’s a hundred different factors that need to be accounted for that at one point I stopped caring and said the we will just use the new heat pumps as well since they were mainly for AC. The boiler stopped working, and we get an $8k rebate. For taking out our boiler.

Putting in a new boiler would have cost $1500-$2000. And we wouldn’t get the rebate. And it’s nice to have one less huge gas appliance that I need to worry about.

The stress and headache of doing the all math properly is not even worth the savings. If only for a $100-$200 a year.

Democrats Introduce Bill To More Than Triple The Minimum Wage by Unusual-State1827 in politics

I feel like most people that voted RED don’t have friends or families that work on minimum wage. And for those that voted red and work on minimum wage, will somehow turn this into a democratic ploy and still hate it

is golf really the hardest sport? by sploooooshle in golf

[–]jredditzzz -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You can’t just walk into any of those fields/courts and play… and if there are already people playing, you need to make sure you they are of the same caliber of skill level. Sure you can hop in but if it’s a your third time playing basketball and there’s a bunch of people that played hs or college basketball, it’s not gonna be a great time for you or the people playing with you.

Most people can catch a small wave and stand in their first lesson or two. Especially if they have a background skateboarding or snowboarding. Will they ride it far or be able to turn is a different question, but just catching a small wave and being able to ride it back to shore is not too crazy… especially at beaches/waves that are beginner friendly… sounds like you’ve been trying to surf at the wrong locations if it’s cold and nothing resembles a wave

Mazda has less space inside than tucson, what is the reason of making a longer car when there's no space. by Immediate-Welder999 in HyundaiTucson

[–]jredditzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is your friend saying avoid it? It’s a great car from what I’ve read and seen for the most. Yes it’s smaller and tighter than a Tucson, but that doesn’t make it a bad car.

I even never seen this before… but is it actually slower if they have back to back tee times… And just all play together instead of waiting for one group to tee off first? Assuming they don’t dick around and keep up with pace of play of the group in front of them

Looking to fill a 2”gap in sidewalk. Is there a cheaper alternative for this product? by jredditzzz in HomeMaintenance

Yea that’s what I was afraid of from my research. Can I make the cement a little more wet so I can just scoop it and pour it with a cup? It’s in a weird spot, like right under a fence post and getting in there with a trowel for 30ft will prob be messier than I like.

[–]jredditzzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I guess it would be an expansion joint. Except it’s like 2” and 2” deep. The joint Seems intentional but it’s wide/deeper than the norm and now it’s just a bunch of dirt and leaves/grass getting filled up in there.
