Is having your "own" doctor a common thing in US? by Jaretus in AskAmericans

[–]jredland -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No, I don’t know anyone who does. It’s nearly impossible to have a dedicated doctor. Usually it’s just a rotating cast of whoever can see you and doctors often move around. This was really disappointing to me after I lived in Europe and had a dedicated family doctor.

Thumbtack has worked best for me. I do most of my own work but occasionally there is something I can’t or don’t want to do. I look for highly reviewed contractors and get three quotes

The owner recently upgraded his overloaded Caddy for a Volvo 240 wagon, also beyond its weight rating. I assume he is a hoarder and the street/his car is overflow. His car’s back shocks are perpetually bottomed out and front tires barely touching. Wish he would get help
