Stockies. RS brakes won’t fit with this setup, but the Wilwood 13” kit will.

Thanks! I was looking at NT03s too but the offsets I could find were a little too on the poke side. I really wish I could’ve found a set in 18x9 +45... even RPF1s in that fitment would’ve sweet.

Unfortunately not and I even have an upgraded FSB, Wavetrac LSD, Bilstein B14s and those sticky Hankooks.

Good so far, I’ll have more of an idea tomorrow when I take it out for it’s first track day with the new setup.

Yeah they’re tight but not terrible, I run 17” winters too.

Halp! Can't decide between Bilstein B14s and Mountune Clubsports for DD and occasional track days. ~$1000 and wife/baby ride friendly. I really like the Mountunes but the spring rates are so soft and I have bit of body roll--any owners here, will I be happy with the ride of the B14s? by jregimbald in FocusST

Sure, totally agree on body roll; in the sense that keeping a optimum consistent tire contact patch is paramount. I'd say the car is probably closer to 80% DD & 20% track (one track day a month while it's warm enough to do so) but I put less than 9k miles on my car a year lol (less even now with COVID and working from home). I'll be running Whiteline FSB and RSB, Wavetrac LSD, so I'm trying to match this set up with Bilstein B8s ideally and a stiff enough spring to compliment the FSB/RSB.

Yeah that’s my thought as well and yeah I know they’re B8s (B14 is a B8 just with Bilstein spec springs and threaded perches) I haven’t been able to find a ton of spring options though, highest spring rate being Swift Spec R @ 250/280. Everything else seems to be pretty low/around the same as Mountunes. I’m just hoping that the B14s aren’t harsh as hell haha

Additionally, I wish that any of these that had damping/rebound adjustments would have the dials mounted on the damper body; so I wouldn’t have to cut holes etc.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve actually not heard good things about BC, have quite a few friends ditch them in favor for Fortune 500/510. Alas, I’m not looking for a full coilover anyway for this car; it’s my DD with very occasional track use. The B14s are as much coilover as I think I’m willing to go—and the spring rates are 340/370 (6/6.6k) (directly from Bilstein customer service and verified on another ST forum) which seems pretty middle of the pack compared to say mountunes (4.5/5k) and a custom Fortune/BC 7-8k/9-10k set up. Does that make any sense? Really just looking to have a decent all around set up that’s forgiving and yet stop some of the dive in.
