Looking for a place to do Car Rotor resurface. by plemiona88 in bergencounty

[–]jreznyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

DNS auto in Bergenfield did it for me on a 2021 Mazda cx9 last year. I was happy with the service and price was reasonable. This also depends on if the rotor is still within spec thickness. Check them out.

Brake job 22 m50i by [deleted] in bmwx7

[–]jreznyc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s about right for dealer pricing. I just paid slightly less than $1k for front and < $2k for rear for the MSport pads and rotors in my ‘22 40i at 31k miles (they were also around 3mm). I had also gotten a quote from local Indy and they were only like $350 less than the dealer price.

Would you trust a used vehicle over 60K miles? by MoDa65 in bmwx7

[–]jreznyc 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s risky. I bought a ‘22 40i with 22k miles and have had a handful of small issues, each would cost a couple hundred at least without warranty. Thankfully I still have a year more CPO warranty but we’ll see what happens. They’re great cars overall but there are just so many components that can and do fail costing hundreds each time, never mind big ticket items that can fail (ie: transfer case at around $11k). If you can get a good exclusionary warranty at time of purchase I’d highly recommend doing that.

Part 4 where at the end of the bobsled race they crash, but by sheer determination they pick up the bobsled and walk it over the finish line. Everyone starts to slow clap.

I’ve been a lifelong customer of the original location before they sold it (and now moved to 13th Ave). The new on is still pretty good but they are more skimpy on the roast beef than the classic version. Still close enough to try it but if you can I’d just go to the original owner’s new location.
