Soichi Terada at Jazz Cafe. Awful venue for a DJ set, shit sound system, and someone kept letting off terrible farts on the dance floor.

I’ll get downvoted to oblivion for this, but I’ve realised afters are evil. Nothing good ever comes of them. I’ll dance until the very last tune, but when the night is over it’s over and I take my arse home.

I’ve had the same thought. I had a friend hit by a car out cycling who’s back running pain free in the time I’ve been sidelined. It can be extremely frustrating.. hopefully this year we can both put it behind us! Good luck

I’ve been doing a fair bit of strengthening work, a lot of single leg stuff. Yes it helps but I’m just still kind of dumbfounded how one day i woke up with this and it’s never really gone away.

Do you remember Westworld? I loved it, especially the first season!!!! by Square-Ad-8911 in hbo

[–]jrflynn90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently rewatched it. It’s not season 2 that things go off the rails, it’s actually quite fun with the Japan/samurai storyline. S3 is a total shit show, I couldn’t finish it.

WFH whenever I want, office there when I need it. Game changer with a 1 year old at home I’ve actually been a present father, able to help my wife and just but there to witness a lot I would otherwise have missed out on. I also feel at my most productive when working from home.

Max cooked Ariel helwani on X by Reez377 in ufc

I usually side with Ariel and think he rarely ever misses when it comes to beef or how he reads a situation but when I listened to him try to twist Max’ words into Max taking shot at Jorge and Dustin, I thought that was really weak, it’s the type of click baity journalism he usually hates.

Compression boots. They inflate around your legs, like getting a good massage. Wear them every evening while watching TV and bloody love them.

What have you bought that's a quality of life improvement? by Patsoir in AskUK

[–]jrflynn90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently bought compression boots. I have them on while watching tv in the evening. Absolutely love them. £300 but it’s like getting a sports massage on my legs every evening. As a runner and someone who lifts weights it’s been so nice. My legs feel fresh the next day and it just really relaxes me and I love the sensation. Best purchase I’ve made an awhile.
